Shipping Address – To ensure proper delivery, we strongly recommend that wine orders be sent to a business address where an adult (over 21 years of age) is available to sign for the order on the first delivery attempt.
Adult Signature Required – A signature by an adult 21 years of age or older is required for wine delivery. By placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When wine is delivered, the person receiving delivery may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. Wine will not be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person.
During summer periods of high heat (90 degrees or above) and winter periods of extreme cold (32 degrees or below), we are cautious when shipping wine in order to preserve quality and ensure that each bottle arrives to you in excellent condition. We may choose to hold shipments until weather permits and you may be contacted by phone or email regarding holding shipments or upgrade options.
Please Note: We are happy to ship your wine direct to a UPS facility near you, where the wine will be kept in a temperature controlled environment until you are able to pick it up.
Pick Up at the Winery – Orders may be picked up daily at the Delicato Tasting Room during normal business hours (9:00am – 5:30pm)
Ground Shipping – Orders are packed, shipped via UPS Ground and delivered on business days (Monday – Friday).
UPS Ground: Please allow 5-8 business days for delivery outside California and 2-5 business days for delivery within California.
Returns & Cancellations:
Where state laws permit, we will replace or refund any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed . By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is damaged or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for the return of damaged or flawed product.
Wine Shipping Restrictions:
Due to state laws, we are only able to ship wine to states that allow consumer direct shipments. In addition, each state imposes limitations on the amount of wine any particular adult may receive by direct shipment.
Being compliant with current state laws, Delicato Tasting Room has the permits required to ship wine to:
* Some counties not eligible
** May only ship brands that are not distributed in the state
*** May only ship wines that are produced by Delicato
Non-wine products can be shipped to all 50 U.S. states
We cannot ship to PO, FPO, APO or IPO boxes.
We cannot ship Internationally.
